From 3 to 5 November in the capital will be the festival "Day of National Unity", organized in honor of the eponymous holiday. Dull weather will not prevent the city from bright and fun to spend this weekend, and at the same time acquaint Muscovites and guests of the capital with culture and traditions of regions and peoples of Russia.
What to do in the festival days:
-tasting traditional dishes of the regions of Russia: Buryat buzes, Tatar kystybyy, Eleš, Ecoremak, Caucasian kebabs, roast and herring in Kubanski, Bashkir pilaf, Ossetian pies and Saratov fish soup with pie;
-to take part in culinary master-classes and learn to cook Astrakhan's ear from three kinds of fishes, to sculpt Siberian dumplings, to bake Kazansky multilayered pie and to prepare other interesting and unusual treats (a platform on Revolution Square); Bake pies according to favorite recipes of residents of different regions (pavilion "kitchen" on Tverskaya Square);
-To master National crafts: lace weaving, hand weaving, Gorodetsky and khokhloma painting (Revolution Square);
-To visit master-classes on embroidery and creation of ethnic ornaments, game on national musical instruments, folk dances (Tverskaya square);
-Together with children to play funny mobile games (Manege, Tverskaya Square);
-Enjoy performances of folklore music and dance groups, as well as popular Russian performers (all days of the festival).
